2010-10-25

HLA alumni receives more college awards.

Hamilton’s Tyler Midwinter has been named a recipient of the Douglas W. Foard Phi Beta Kappa Sophomore Award at Randolph-Macon College.  Renamed the Douglas W. Foard Award in 2002, the award was established in 1985 to honor all students who have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average by the end of their sophomore year at R-MC. The award is the oldest and most prestigious honorary society in American colleges and universities.  Randolph-Macon is one of only 280 institutions privileged to host a chapter.  Tyler will receive the award at a ceremony and banquet on November 11.

Tyler plays attack with the R-MC Yellow Jackets and is a Hamilton Lacrosse Association alumni. Early this year Tyler also received First-Team All-ODAC laurels.
The HLA is proud to congratulate Tyler on his success in his academic and athletic achievements.
